The terms that govern your use of Octodius.
Last updated: August 6, 2026
These terms govern your use of octodius.com ("Octodius", "we", "us"), operated by Matthew Dhlamini, based in South Africa. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Our articles, blog posts, tools, and free projects are available to browse without an account. Some features — commenting, bookmarking, submitting content as a Creator, and buying paid projects — require you to create an account.
You agree to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
If you're approved as a Creator, you may submit posts and projects for publication. By submitting content, you:
All submitted content is reviewed before publication and may be edited or declined at our discretion.
Some projects are sold for a one-time fee. Checkout is processed by PayPal; we don't handle or store your payment details directly. Purchases grant you access to the project files listed on that project's page for your own use.
Refunds are considered case-by-case — if a paid project doesn't match its description or you're unable to access it after purchase, contact us at hello@octodius.com and we'll work it out with you.
Unless otherwise noted, articles, tutorials, and site design are owned by Octodius or their respective Creators. Our tools are free to use for personal and commercial projects. Please don't republish our articles or paid project files elsewhere without permission.
Octodius is provided "as is." Our tools, articles, and projects are offered to help you learn and build — we don't guarantee they're error-free, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. Code snippets and projects should be reviewed before use in production.
To the extent permitted by law, Octodius and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, its content, or its tools.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
